Kiss Me Quick

It's that time of year again, when Hallmark rake it in and flower shops go into over drive. Does it have to be Valentine's Day to send flowers? Sigh, I love flowers and day of the year. They're so pretty. The cards with pictures of kissing animals are nice too. But again, penguins touching wings would make me smile any day.

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,

I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Pretty appropriate Valentine's Day lesson Mr. Yeats. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get something meaningful.
