A Ramble Down Memory Lane

At the time, this was probably the greatest moment of my life. It felt surreal. And looking back now, it was a good concert. That was a good time in my life. A little embarrassing fashion wise but good friends. Great friends.

Not that I'm not at a good point in my life now too, just different. A big change is coming this year but I like to think I'm not all that different. If I were to see Gerard Way in the the street tomorrow I'd have to fight the urge not to allow my inner fan girl to take over.

If the day ever comes when there's another My Chemical Romance concert in Ireland, I will go. Even if it's just for the nostalgia.

"If for one minute you think you're better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn't know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about." - GW

Also, why can't bands hold onto drummers?

Early Morning

My little brother had a sleepover party last night. Many many many small boys attended. They then proceeded to stay up ALL NIGHT forgetting that some of us have to get up for an Irish oral workshop in the morning.

So, at seven o' clock this morning when I gave up trying to get back to sleep, the aul' laptop joined me in bed. And I looked at pictures until the alarm I'd set for nine finally went off. These are the results of my search:

:
And another thing, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I pwn'd that history pre. One hundred percent. Honestly, I'm still not over the shock. Any post English Paper 1 ruffled feathers have been smoothed. Speaking of feathers, isn't that tattoo up there one of the nicest things you've ever seen? Sigh.

C'mon summer. It's getting so hard to get dressed in this current weather. 'Do I need a coat or would I get away with a jacket?' I just don't know.

Worky-work tonight. It won't be as fun as Wednesday, no selling soup and sandwiches, just serving vol au vonts. Off to eat some chips and put dry shampoo in my hair now.

Adieu.
