i no longer have a drain on my resources

debs are over. all two of them. two would have been fine,
had they not been one day after another.

but it was brilliant, both of them.

the dressing up was so fun, and the dancing, and the table chat. not so good was black feet from dirty floors and kid rock. but you can't have everything.
also, i got my first blog comment (thank you jamie)

i didn't think people really commented on blogs
i am wrong apparently.
yay pictures!

ps. is brown a bad type colour?

last night

I worked. for a PRIESTS REUNION.
I felt like I had to watch everything I said.

"Would you like some tea father?"
"I'd LOVE some tea."

I'm disappointed I didn't get to say, "Ahh go on, go on, go on."

today.

Mkay, so i'm all enthusiastic about this atm, but I don't expect it to last. Unless I have something really important to say. Which I don't always. I wish I did.
I have opinions.
Strong ones.
Today was a pretty ordinary day, woke up, had to polish. It rained, imagine that. Working tonighttt, shouldn't be too bad.
My new obsession is now Make Me A Supermodel, Colin ftw.

book review

I'm going to start posting a few of these, they're pretty fun to do, might submit a few to magazines or something.

Title: Captain Corelli's Mandolin

Author: Louis De Bernieres

Publisher: Vintahe

Rating: aaaa

Review: Although it starts off a little slow, and is steeped in description of the idyllic Greek island of Cephallonia, this novel blooms into a beautiful and classic love story. The minor characters, the drunken priest, the strongman, the unconvetional soldier, are just as well developed as the leads, Antonio and Pelagia. As the outside world descends into chaos as WW2 spreads, the novel becomes darker, told from many different perspectives. The novel challenges the reader's view point on war, history and conventional love. I found this to be a genuinely moving book, which stays with the reader long after the final pages.

Quote: "He let his rifle rust, even lost it once or twice, but he won battles armed only with a mandolin"

debs

it's tomorrow. quite excited tbh. hoping it won't rain and/or be windy.
but let's be realistic.
it probably will be.
although, once I don't look like these poor fools, I'll be perfectly fine.
